This is just a quickie post to help inform your buys if you haven't done your Sephora VIB shopping yet! In case you were on the fence about any of the items that caught my eye, I wanted to get this out there before the sale ends TOMORROW!
My picks arrived in the mail today and there were some clear hits and misses. I will be posting detailed reviews on the items with swatches in the near future so look out for that.
Becca Eye Tint in Romantique - This is a really elegant muted metallic dusky lilac shade. It's a liquid formula that dries and sets after a few seconds. It applies sheerly, so you need to apply it in layers. There's enough time before it sets to blend it to your desired intensity. It's buildable and the product itself is quite sizable. This is the one I'd throw on when I want to look understated and classy. $24.00 at Sephora.
Stila Convertible Color Palette - Dear Lord, may this palette never go out of stock. It's 12 pigmented creams that can be used as lipstick or blush. I tried one of the colors on the lips, and it has the desired opacity of a lipstick. I was worried it would be sheer but the formula is TOPS! I plan to use the colors as blush mostly but all of the colors are gorgeous and suit the lips and the cheeks equally well. This is one of the best cream blushes I've ever owned.

$25.00 for single at Sephora.
Amore Pacific CC Cushion in SPF 50+ - I've talked about this loads already but this is the best, most natural finish cushion product I've come across. If you are about an NC25 at any point during the year, the 104 Tan Blush will suit you nicely. Unfortunately, if you are on the fairer side, there is no color match for you. The range is devastatingly small. Also, best suited for normal - dry skin.

$60.00 at Sephora
Makeup Forever Aqua Cream in Silver - This is interesting. It's a creamy whipped mousse-type formula that sets pretty quickly and WILL NOT BUDGE even with vigorous scrubbing under water. It's what you want if you're going to an underground Studio 54 type sweaty nightclub. $23.00 at Sephora
Makeup Forever HD Blush in 330 (Rosy Plum?) - This is a BEAUTIFUL rosy pink shade that is really easy to blend. Very neutral and suitable for both cool and warm skin tones. In comparison with the Stila Convertible Color, the MUFE formula is harder and waxier. The Stila CC's melt onto the cheeks where the MUFE HD's have to be warmed up between your fingers and tapped/patted on. $26.00 at Sephora.
Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Flowering Freesia - There is almost zero pigment in this balm. If you are looking for just any old hydrating lip balm, it works fine but if you were hoping for a cute color expression on the lips, you won't find it here. For $17 full price, I expect more than just a normal lip balm. This one was so disappointing, it's going back asap. $17.00 at Sephora.
Surratt Beauty Artistique Eyeshadow in Enchantresse - This is a beautiful blueish gray shade and just overall a pretty nice and silky shadow (not the best I've tried but good). I love using it to darken the outer v in an eyeshadow look, or as an eyeliner. It's just TINY for the price you pay and don't get me started on the packaging. It's as flimsy as a Wet N Wild compact. You just look at it and ask yourself where the rest of it went. At least that is how I felt about it. I'm not someone that buys a lot of luxury products because as nice as top-of-the-line products are, I really enjoy the thrill of getting great value out of my purchases. I will keep this shadow because I like the color, but I will probably avoid purchasing these in the future. $20.00 at Sephora
Quick FOTD with some of the products... The Amore Pacific, the MUFE HD blush, Becca Eye Tint all over lid Enchantresse in outer corners. Excuse the under eyes. :X
Now get thee to the VIB!
