If you've fallen in love with the makeup removal wizardry of the Banila Co Clean It Zero but want to find something that 'dupes' its cleansing powers for less, this Shara Shara Berry Berry Cleansing Sherbert is it!
Shara Shara Berry Berry Cleansing Sherbet | Full-Size 75ml
Meet this mineral oil-based cleansing balm that works to remove the most stubborn of makeup, including (as shown in the video demo later on)...
Tony Moly Back Stage Gel Eyeliner
3 Concept Eyes matte purple lipstick
Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Edge Meister Mascara
Etude House Play 101 Pencil
If you have any one of these products, you know that they all leave a stain.
This is a "first cleanser", which means that it works to remove makeup, sunscreen, and dirt, but yields the best and cleanest results when followed up with a "second cleanser", typically something that foams.
DIRECTIONS Scoop out desired amount (I use a quarter-size dollop) and massage in small circular up and outward motions until sherbet is fully dissolved. Thoroughly wash off with a foam cleanser.
INGREDIENTS Mineral Oil, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, PEG-12 Isostearate, Polyethylene, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Fragaria Vesca (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract, Water, Butylene Glycol, CI 14700, Fragrance, CI 17200.
It includes moisturizing macadamia seed oil, free-radical fighting vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), orange, strawberry, lightly exfoliating and skin-conditioning raspberry, and anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-rich blueberry extracts. Those looking for acne triggers will want to note the mineral oil, olive oil, and the butylene glycol. There are a few low- to mid-level health concerns from the PEG-20 glyceryl triisostearate, PEG-12 isostearate, polyethylene, dyes, tocopheryl acetate, and potential mild irritation from the fragrance.
Like I said earlier, it dupes the famous Banila Co Clean It Zero... Check it, the first 5 ingredients match up exactly. Banila Co Ingredients Here.
The sherbert is a light and smoothly emollient balm texture. It comes in a 60 ml tub, a spatula is not included.
It's pink and it smells STRONGLY of delicious berries. Like I always say, if you're going to add fragrance to a product, make it count... and Shara Shara made it count. :)
This is just a close up of the texture. It's so soft and smooth.
I absolutely love this thing. It works, it's less expensive than the cult favorite Banila Co balm, and it doesn't dry my skin out. It's also really great to know that since much of the product dupes the Banila Co balm, that many have already tried... you can almost (still patch test please) count on it working for you if the Banila Co did.
So let's witness its cleansing powers!!
Please excuse my terrible video editing and narrating skills. Video + Me is kind of like a snail playing with a Rubiks cube.
